Textile Workshop tutor Diana Sanderson offers a range of courses at the Malvern Hills Campus of Evesham and Malvern Hills College in Worcestershire, England. Established in 1886, the college nestles under the Malvern Hills and has a long tradition in art and crafts.

Part-Time Vocational Courses

City and Guilds courses are annual and commence each September, the following are scheduled to start in September 2008:

• City and Guilds 7822 - Hand Embroidery
• City and Guilds 7822 - Patchwork and Quilting
• City and Guilds 7822 - Textile Decoration
• City and Guilds 7823 - Creative Sketchbooks
• City and Guilds 7922 - Patchwork and Quilting (Two year course equivalent to the old part 1)

A 5 day Sketchbooks City and Guilds Level 1 course will be run during Summer School 2009, see the Workshops page for details.

Starting on April 28th 2009 :

• Introduction to Creative Patchwork and Quilting - Level 1

This is part of the new suite of Creative Techniques qualifications that City and Guilds have developed to replace the existing design and craft qualifications listed above. This introductory course will guide you through developing templates, creating simple blocks, strip patchwork and shadow work using both hand and machine techniques.

Recreational Courses

A variety of recreational courses are run on a termly basis.
