This course combined embroidery skills, bag making and the use of recycled materials.

The clutch bag incorporated the use of recycled college prospectus, which is similar to newspaper in weight. The second bag had to include either recycled plastics and/or metals. These were derived from milk bottles, plastic bags, plastic wallets, tomato puree tubes and electric cable. The final bag included found objects such as buttons, silk flowers and remnants of special fabrics.
