Students will create a portfolio of samples and will complete two
stitched projects to reflect the variety of skills developed during
the year.
Assessment is verbal
throughout the year with feedback on the individual's progress.
There is no formal examination. Students will be awarded a City
and Guilds Certificate at level 2. At the end of the year students
will have gained confidence in design skills and have discovered
techniques to use patchwork and quilting creatively. The completed
projects will be displayed at the annual College Exhibition at the
beginning of July 2009.
